We offer an uplifting traditional service each Sunday at 11:00 a.m. with our Chancel Choir under the direction of our Choral Music Director, Bill Boocock.

Bill Boocock is currently a professor of music at Azusa Pacific University.  He is a voice teacher, accomplished vocalist and composer.  He has served as Choral Music Director for 14 years here at Christ Presbyterian Church, and he is married to Jill, who also serves as a member of our Choir.  They have 3 children.

In addition to regular services and musicals, our Chancel Choir performs at special services like Christmas Eve and Thanksgiving services.  The Choir is truly a family and serve each other as a covenant group by praying and ministering to each others needs and praying for the needs of the church body.   Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 7:30 - 9:30 pm: in the spring they hold their annual banquet, and in the fall they go on retreat.

"Imagine" - Imagine a world without Christmas . . . for most of us, that would be difficult to do. History tells us that after hundreds of years of silence preceding the birth of Jesus, God reached out to embrace mankind through the birth of His Son. Imagine is a Christmas worship experience that invites listeners to immerse themselves in the joy and glory of His presence through true worship. Familiar, contemporary worship songs are carefully woven together with newly written music, favorite carols, and powerful narrations of praise to help us all rediscover the gift of Christmas in a fresh, new way.
