Adult Ministry

Our goal in Adult Ministries is to challenge each individual adult in our midst to expand the foundation upon which their relationship with God and Christ is based. This challenge is best met by participating in worship each Sunday and engaging the body, mind, and spirit in at least one other major Christian fellowship experience each week. We offer a variety of opportunities for each individual to meet this goal in the manner best suited to their situation and circumstances.

We're taking a break over the summer, but next year's study on the Book of Acts starts on September 17.  This in-depth Bible study is for all adults who desire to encounter God in His word.  On Wednesday nights (7:00-9:00) we'll be meeting in Rooms 102-103 for fellowship, prayer, small groups, and a weekly message.  If you need more information or want to sign up go to the welcome table or contact Dean Bobar at dbobar@cpchb.org.

Adult Ministry Class

ALPHA

The course begins on Tuesday, September 16 in Room 103 - dinner is included.  Bring your friends.  Alpha is for everyone.  It is geared to people interested in investigating Christianity, newcomers to the church, couples preparing for marriage and Christians who want to brush up on the basics.  Each week a different topic is explored by Nicky Gumbal, a gifted teacher from the Anglican Church in London, England.  The course addresses questions like:  What is the point of life?  How does God communicate with us?  Who is Jesus?  Why did Jesus die?  Why and how should I read the Bible?  Call the church office (714-968-4940) to register or for more information click on "Alpha" to be connected to their website.
