For many of us at CPC, grief and loss have been part of our recent past. All of us will face these unwelcome experiences in our future. C.S. Lewis wrote this small book in 1961, at the death of his wife, Joy, probing the "mad midnight moments" of his own grief. This class will explore Lewis' incites as well as those of Scripture and personal testimony, giving participants a foundation that holds through the storms of life. Pastors Johnny Smith and Bill Welch will lead the class. Four Sundays beginning June 15 at 9:30 a.m. through July 6 in Modular 2B. For more information contact Bill Welch at bwelch@cpchb.org.
How well do you know God's word and how to study it? BETA (Bible Exploration Training & Assistance) provides a 10-week overview of the Bible. Beginning June 25, Dean Bobar will be teaching this class on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in room 103. For more information contact Dean at 968-4940 or dbobar@cpchb.org.
