POLICY
The school is an non-profit organization governed by a Board responsible to the Session of Christ Presbyterian Church through the Christian Education Commission.
The school is licensed by the State of California, Health and Welfare Agency, and the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the school is to provide a learning environment for the preschool child that is conducive to Christian growth and development, and to encourage a lively awareness on the part of the child and his parents of God's love for them.

CLASS SIZE
Limited class size provides individual attention and small group interaction.
CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is designed to provide each child with experiences in each of the developmental areas, including creative, social/emotional, cognitive, physical motor, and language. The curriculum is sent home with each child the week prior.
DEVELOPMENTAL CHECKLIST
Teacher evaluations addressing each of the developmental areas will be made
available three times a year, early November, March and June.
INDOOR ENVIRONMENT
Children choose from a variety of activities set up in interest centers. Interest centers include art activities, creative writing, small motor activities, dramatic play, sensory play, cooking, block play, scientific observations, games and puzzles.
Circle time offers the opportunity to listen and respond to music, felt board activities, finger plays, and literature as presented by the teacher.
OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT
Our outdoor environment offers enriched opportunity in the area of motor development including, woodworking, natural and scientific observations, sand and water play, art, music, rhythm, and dramatic play.
PARENT VISITATION
Parents are welcome and encouraged to visit our school at any time.
