Therefore I urge you brothers (and sisters), in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship.    Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.   Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.

ATTENTION WOMEN MUSICIANS
The Girl Band is looking for women to join them.  If you play an instrument and love to worship, please contact us.  All practices are guaranteed to be full of friendship, laughter, and fun.  The Band is open to anyone interested in playing during the summer.  Contact Laurie Floyd for practice dates and time through the church office at 714-968-4940.

CHOSEN FOR BLESSING
Join us for this year's Chosen for Blessing, a Bible study just for women. we will be studying women in the Bible. Investigating their lives will enrich our own. This study begins September 16. There are two different time opportunities to attend. The morning study is from 9:00-11:00 a.m. There is also an evening study from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in Room 103. SPRING RETREAT
Save the date of March 19-20, 2010 for our Spring Retreat.  Our speaker will be Dr. Laura Robinson Harbert, PhD.  Laura and her husband, Mike, spoke at our couple's conference in 2007 at Pala Mesa.  She is brilliant and funny.  You will love her!  Her subject: Feast for the Soul.
