We are excited to welcome kids back to AWANA. Whether it’s your first year or fourth year at AWANA, we are hopeful that God has something special for us this year.

What is AWANA night
look like?

AWANA used to be held in person inside at Christ Pacific Church every Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Our regular club meetings normally consist of four components, but exact schedule and activities vary from club to club.

Opening Ceremony – Welcome, pledges to the American flag and the Bible, putting on the Armor of God, review of rules and announcements, award theme participants.

Handbook Time – Kids recite to their leaders the sections they’ve learned during the week or take time to learn additional verse.

Game Time – Game Directors lead the kids in a variety of fun, but safe games, races, and contests. Snacks will be provided after games.

Large Group Time – A Bible-based story or a moral lesson, songs, prayer, and awards.

Registration
Cost

Dues are required to help cover some of the cost of awards, badges, and other AWANA expenses from the church. Discounts are available for families who serve weekly in the AWANA program, or special circumstances. Please talk to Jericho for more information.

The whole year costs $40 per child; $35 for additional children. Handbooks are required ($15 each) OPTIONAL: Uniform and Tote bags ($12)

NO CHILD WILL BE DENIED PARTICIPATION IN AWANA BECAUSE OF AN INABILITY TO PURCHASE A UNIFORM OR PAY THEIR YEARLY DUES.

We do not wish to exclude any child from AWANA because of financial hardship. Please decide what your family is able to pay for the registration. Email jalmiranez@cpchb.org about an AWANA scholarship.

Wellness
Policy

As we all know, sickness can make its rounds in your home and in your child’s group settings. It is for this reason we ask that you follow a few guidelines in determining if your child is well enough to attend AWANA for our in-person meeting. Children who have had any of the following within the last 24 hours should not come to AWANA in person:

  • Close contact with anyone with COVID-19
  • Fever
  • Heavy Coughing, croup or sneezing
  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Green or cloudy runny nose Inflamed throat or mouth
  • Runny or pink eyes
  • Any skin inflammation such as rashes, ringworm, impetigo
  • Symptoms of any childhood disease (chicken pox, measles, mumps, etc)
