Creating Flourishing Congregations is an initiative through ECO to help our congregation thrive and flourish in our mission to reach our community for Christ. We need your participation to begin the process of a new congregational lifecycle that moves our church toward renewed vision, energy, flourishing and growth. We would like for you specifically to participate because of your demonstrated exceptional service to our church. We need your history and ideas concerning the church as we begin to evaluate and develop a path of sustainability in these times of rapid change. As a church, we experienced setbacks in the last few years that affected our vitality. To find a way to overcome these challenges we need your participation!
The gatherings in November are dedicated to identifying needs and developing a strategic map of necessary changes, priorities, and processes to sustain the life of the church and fulfill our mission.
DISCOVERY GATHERING #1: LOOKING BACK
Saturday, November 9, 8:00am – 11:00am
We’ll reflect together to notice God’s faithfulness, remember the events (both positive and painful) that shaped us, and understand the values we’ve formed.
DISCOVERY GATHERING #2: LOOKING AROUND
Sunday, November 17, 12:00pm – 3:00pm
We’ll work through various aspects of our church such as strengths, needs, limitations, and resources.
Each gathering will include small group exercises and discussion with the larger group refining our discoveries. It will be fun with food provided, so please REGISTER so we can plan for the food.
