Hello Christ Pacific!
Today, as I make my journey from my shaded parking spot to my office, I am deeply grateful for—and proud of—at least three things we’ve accomplished together this year.
WE INSTALLED SOLAR!
This expression of our biblical value of faithful stewardship of creation and resources translates into a $29,000/year benefit stream.
And isn’t this just the way the Lord works? Two new covenant partners resonated so much with this expression of stewardship when they first arrived that they knew they’d found a church home!
WE TRANSFORMED DOCK B!
What was once a tired, outdated space has been completely transformed into a comfortable, cool, and conducive environment for cultivating faith among teenagers. This was all done with volunteer resources! As some are now saying, Dock B is the coolest place to be. 😉
At the same time, our Youth Minister, Cole, has welcomed three new servant leaders to work with our youth ministry.
THE 100’S ARE NEW!
Our largest fellowship space is now more hygienic, cleaner, brighter, and more convenient for users. We will see a number of additional upgrades in 2026 to finish the space. The 100’s is used regularly by Bread of Life, MomCo, two men’s Bible studies, Preschool, and receptions of all sorts.
Adding solar, transforming Dock B, and improving the 100’s are helping us do ministry better.
I am so proud of what we have done together this year! I am so proud of who we are together!
All of this is possible because of your generosity. You give time. You give talent. You give money. Thank you for giving.
I know you have many opportunities to support many good things with your giving. I happen to think giving to your church is the most important. I am, of course, biased because I am your pastor! But I am not embarrassed by that reality—I will urge you to take another step of faith and give again to the most important movement in the history of the world: the advance of the gospel!
We have an $80,000 deficit to erase together before December 31. I have no doubt it will be erased for two reasons:
1. The past is a good indicator of the future. We’ve erased our December deficits many times before.
2. The Lord equips those He calls; He does not call those who are already equipped. God has called us into His mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ. Will He not equip us with the resources we need to obey Him? I have no doubt God will do it! How about you? Do you trust the King of the cosmos?
See you Sunday for worship!
Together with you on the adventure of faith,
Pastor Peter
