Anchored in Hope
Leviticus 3: 1-3, 19-27 (NIV)
Hope is our anchor, and God’s compassion rolls in like waves every morning.
Take a walk along the beach. Pick up a shell or take a picture of the waves, and let it become an Ebenezer—a reminder that God’s mercies never fail. As faithfully as the tide returns every morning, so does His compassion. Anchor your hope in the Lord, so that when the storms come, you will remember that He is steadfast and faithful.
Discussion
If you are in a storm, make space to process it. You could start by reading a Psalm of lament, journaling, or sharing and praying with a friend.
