Christ Pacific Church will be partnering with Bethel Ministries International again this year to do mission work in Guatemala! We need additional team members this year, so please pray for the opportunity for you to be on this year’s team so we can successfully complete our goals for the trip. You can be part of this opportunity regardless of your age and abilities.
This one-week trip will include home visits to provide food and clothing to needy families, construction of one or two steel frame dwellings for single or widowed mothers with children, and distribution of wheelchairs in a small community. More information on the location of this year’s trip will be forthcoming.
The trip will cost approximately $1500 which can be funded by individual fundraising if you wish. We will be forming the team immediately with a cut-off date of June 15th. There will be a $500 deposit toward the trip cost due by that time. The remainder of the money will be due by August 1. We would like to confirm team members as soon as possible, so if you have interest and/or questions about the trip, please contact either Wray Watkins, Gary Wells.
We are also requesting donations from the church family to fund the cost of 50 wheelchairs again this year starting May 1st. The cost of refurbishing one chair is $170, but donations of any amount are welcomed. You can donate by check or online at the CPC website.
