A biblical Inquiry into the identify of Jesus, with Robyn Holcomb and Peter Little
Every Thursday in May | 9:00 -10:30am | Room 101
Everybody has an opinion about who history’s most influential human was – itinerant teacher, lunatic, moral man, misguided prophet, healer, messiah? Let’s explore who Jesus himself says he is. Then we can decide if we’ll take him at his word or disregard him altogether. Join Robyn and Peter over the course of five Thursdays in May for a discussion-based learning environment that will shape how we think about Jesus.

John’s Gospel account records at least nine different self-referential claims Jesus made.
- I am the bread of life (6:35)
- I am the living water (7:38)
- I am the light of the world (8:12)
- I am he (8:58)
- I am the gate (10:7)
- I am the good shepherd (10:11)
- I am the resurrection and the life (11:25)
- I am the way, the truth and the life (14:6)
- I am the grapevine (15:1)
Over the course of five Thursday morning discussions, we’ll consider many of these claims, investigating what Jesus meant, how his original audience would have heard him and why it matters for us today.
This is a discussion-based learning environment, led by Robyn Holcomb (Family Life Minister) and Peter Little (Lead Pastor), that will shape how we think about the single most influential figure in history.
